Network Engineer

The Network Engineer is responsible for the support of our client’s end users and troubleshooting and correcting issues within servers, networks, end-user devices, and storage equipment.

Qualifications & Required Experience

Basic Requirements

  • Proven track record of being a problem solver and team player capable of working in a technically challenging environment
  • Provide remote and on-site support to our clients
  • Effectively interact via verbal and written communications with our clients’ end-users
  • A minimum of two years experience in network administration, configuration, and troubleshooting, with a basic working knowledge of:
    • Enterprise-level, multi-tier service desk environment
    • DNS/DHCP support
    • PC and server support
    • Virtualization tools (VMware is a plus)
    • Windows, IIS, and SQL server administration
    • Configuring and troubleshooting email services including SMTP, POP, IMAP, and Exchange
    • Server-class hardware including RAID hardware

Preferred Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS, or ISQS
  • Current technical certifications with one or more of the following companies: Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft, VMware, ShoreTel
